The obverse inscription is given as 'JUBLI EMAS PEMERINTAHAN TUANKU SULTAN ABDUL HALIM MU'ADZAM SHAH SULTAN NEGERI KEDAH DARUL AMAN'.

Description: Belize 1983 1 Pound Postal Order. Issued at Belize City on the 22nd. of April 1983. The 1st. day of issue for Belizean-issued British Postal Orders was the 1st. of June 1973. Belize no longer issues postal orders at its local post offices,but there is a British Field Post Office in Belize,which does sell them to British military personnel only.

Description: Zanzibar 2005 1,000 Shillings Postal Order. Issued at Shangani,Zanzibar on the 16th. of November 2005. Poundaged changed to 200 Shillings up from 60 Shillings by way of a rubber handstamp. Tanzanian postal orders are now the only numismatic items that are issued in Zanzibar.

Description: Zanzibar 2005 500 Shillings Postal Order. Issued at Shangani,Zanzibar on the 16th. of November 2005. Unusual poundage changes - from 30 Shillings up to 80 Shillings,& back down to 30 Shillings. Zanzibari banknotes are extremely rare,so a Zanzibari-issued Tanzanian postal order is the next best (& affordable!) thing to a Zanzibari banknote.

Description: Sarawak 1978 50 Sen Postal Order. 4 Sen poundage. Issued at Kuching,Sarawak on the 11th. of April 1978. Inscribed entirely in Bahasa Melayu only,unlike current issues,which are bilingually inscribed in Bahasa Melayu & English. Older Malaysian postal orders actually have the poundage indicated on the postal order itself,unlike current issues,which have the poundage indicated on the counterfoil only. Since Rajah Sir Charles Vyner Brooke abdicated in 1946 to cede Sarawak to the British Crown,postal orders have been the only numismatic items to be issued in Sarawak.
