Diam 23.5mm, 2.1g Hartill 17.185 From 1180 onwards, the Chun Xi Yuan Bao 1 cash had a number on the reverse indicating the year of casting - 1 for 1180, 2 for 1181 and so on to 8 for 1189. This is said to have reduced the amount of illegal casting.
