This is one that got away! I was willing to go to ~$600 at the Heritage Auction [8 Feb 2013] but I knew it would go higher - and it did - this extraordinary specimen went for $1939! I might have seen a finer one at a French sale, one without some of the die cracks and/or metal folds, and I remember it went for around $500 and not that long ago. A great and historical piece, and a good investment, if you can find one.
