Gallic Empire. C. Pius Esuvius Tetricus. At the death of Victorinus he was elevated to the throne with the help of Victoria, the mother of Victorinus. The Gallo-Roman Empire declined under his rule and when Aurelian invaded Gaul he abdicated and spent the rest of his life as an honored citizen of Rome. RIC 148; S3083
