Nice red/brown business strike (which for some, as yet, unexplained reason are more scarce than the many proofs offered). Reverse has two stars. The 1833 ACS token featured a sailing vessel. By 1847 we see a steam side paddle-wheeler. Curiously, the current coat-of-arms of Liberia has returned to the sailing vessel. Struck at the Soho mint at Birmingham, UK. Lovely incuse design featuring Miss Liberty in her cap. This specimen is featured on the PCGS site at this [ link ] Even with the adjustment marks it's currently rated the highest in the BN 1847 category.
