Tannu-Tuva Peoples Republic [Tuva] is an autonomous region of Russia located in central Asia and on the northwest border with Outer Mongolia. All seven denominations were struck in 1934 and authentic pieces are quite scarce.

Fabulous! I've always wanted one, or better yet a set. I need to classify and create a proper location. Russia is in Europe (culturally) and TT is associated w/Mongolia in Asia. Where do you think or prefer the TT listing? Thanks for posting and your suggestion - moneta@moneta-coins.com

Thanks Moneta. These are difficult coins to find. Not quite as difficult as Armavir coins, but hard enough. You have to be careful nowadays, because I've been seening fakes of these showing up on Ebay. I have a couple ideas for how to break up the Russian coin categories. I'll send you a personal message.
