This emergency Notgeld issue of a Walking Miner with pick-axe and miner's lamp completes the interesting types issued by Stadt Duren in 1918 - 1919. Other types, Miner, and WWI airplane Pilot can all be seen here in the Moneta Museum. I still need to acquire the soldier for Duren that has a variant, the portrait seems to be exactly the same coin issued for Weissenfels which can be seen here in the Museum.
Here the variety is ME in 'Mein' forms 1 conjoined character, the common variety.
