At long last I came across an Emperor Justinian I - The Great, official strike from the Ravenna mint in Italy. These are quite rare but probably not quite as rare as nice issues of the mint in Rome. Both of these were rather short lived as Justinian lost them to again to barbarian invasion. I hope to have a full story of his campaign to recover the old western Roman Empire territory on this site soon. Extremely RARE!
