Design of Brazier Effigy (Brasero Efigie) features the face of Tlaloc, God of the rain and one of the Gods of the creation. It is one of the most important Aztec deities. It was believed that tears flowing down his cheeks fertilized and regenerated the bodies buried in Aztec lands. This is a rare Type II with the Mexico mint above the date, not more than 500 were reportedly minted!
