This coin depicts Senor de las Limas (Master of the Limes). This extraordinary jade sculpture represents a priest carrying a "jaguar child" in his arms. According to archeologists it is related to both fertility and maternity. It was found in the Valley of the Limes, in the state of Veracruz. Part of Olmec Pre-Colombian coin series.
