Heavy vertigris has been removed in spots revealing the gold inlay. Be sure to get the 3 articles posted from the link below.

I don't discount that possibility. But, normally that pronouncement is accompanied by some facts as a way of explanation. I welcome any that you can document - this site is designed to show the authentic and document the fakes as well. Thanks for your input - I hope to hear more on this one from you. JM
