Emperor Sheng Zu (1662-1722)
Kang Xi Tong Bao
Rev: Tian Xi Tai Ping
Diam: 41.6mm, 32.6g
Hartill mentions coins of this type being issued with the period titles Qianlong. Jiaqing, Daoguang, Xianfeng and Tongzhi, but NOT Kangxi.
The item is well produced, but the calligraphy s eems not quite right. The Xi is printed type. The Tong is unusual for Kang Xi coins, and the Bao is indeterminate.
Date uncertain - could be 19th or 20th century.
