Another example I have placed as a Y#511.1 variety with open '3' and a backwards '4'. The size and lettering style are different on this one with the letters rather thinner.
Compare to others by clicking on the expanded view of the ones you'd like to compare and then place all of them on the desk top. Probably counterfeit.

Nice one. It's interesting how in one year, their minting methods look much more refined. Not perfect, but compared to the 1933 issues, it's a drastic improvement. Even more so for the 500 Cash series.

Thanks for all the fantastic additions! The big improvement in the Soviet series occured post Long March when they gained access to a regional mint in north China. The Chinese forgeries now extend to the coppers so you have to be careful. Prices have dramatically increased in the last five to eight years.
