The Land of Judea under Roman Procurators - the Prefect Pontius Pilate (26 - 36 A.D.). During the reign of Emperor Tiberius. This AE Prutah is dated Year 16 which equates to the modern dating of 29-30 A.D. - the golden period of Jesus of Nazareth's ministry and just before the traditional date of the cruxifiction.
