This mint (Carthage in N. Africa) is much scarcer than the others depicted here. I'm trying to assemble a representative sample from the mints that made the follis. The other two mints are Ravenna and Rome; both are very scarce and usually crude. This KART is a pretty good specimen, too bad for the scratch on the reverse. Sear # 258 (bought as 257), this shows Justinian with the cross on his chest. Diameter at the widest is 29 mm at 12.2 gm.
