Extremely RARE example of the famous ACS token attributed to Liberia, but minted in the USA as a domestic fundraiser. All other varieties (8) show only rays, this one actually shows the setting sun disc. Die studies (by RS, 'copperhobbie') confirm that this unique variety was the first to be minted. The extreme scarcity (4 known, 2 presented here) indicate that these were probably trial issues that were probably also presentation pieces.
