A nice example of the early release of the Ceres head design. First released during the 2nd Republic in 1849, this example is from the Paris mint on the last year of issue until it was resurrected in 1870. This one is in very nice condition with original surfaces but it does have several minor rim nicks. 13.223 M minted.
