The Revolution of 1848-49 was part of the many revolutions throughout Europe during these two years. Eventually I'll publish a history of these revolutions and how they are tied together. You have to love the scowl of these Venetian Winged Lions of St. Mark. This 3 Centesimi piece had 1.044 M struck for the only year of 1849.
