This is a bold 1 year type and only struck in this 100 Lire denomination (5 k struck). The portrait of Vittorio Emanuele III sits atop an oak sprig. The rectangular feature below is actually a ring around the oak that bears cryptic symbols. This coin celebrates the 25th Year of reign and the 10th year of entry into the WWI conflict. The reverse features the heroic naked figure of a man holding a flag and small figure of Victory while kneeling against a rock inscribed "Vetta Italia" [Summit of Italy]. Design by Aurelio Mistruzzi.
This coin is NOT physically in the Moneta Museum, it's a borrowed photo.
