This coin type, featuring William Tell (he shot the apple from his son's head), has been struck in silver from 1924 to 1969. There was a curious overlap because the same design began being struck in copper-nickel in 1968. They are listed as regular strikes, usually in high quantities, and as specimen strikes (not proof?).
