Tiberius AR Denarius minted between A.D. 17-37 at Lyon. Obverse: TI CAESAR DIVI AVG F AVGVSTVS. Laureate head of emperor right. Reverse: PONTIF MAXIM. Seated female right (Livia), holding vertical staff and branch. RCV 1763, RIC 26. This is probably the coin Jesus was referring to in the Bible when he told the apostles to "Render to Caesar what is Caesars."
For a great introduction to the coins of the Bible see the Nov 2017 issue of ANA's "Numismatist" at > [ link ]
