Salonina as Augusta (254-268 AD), wife of Gallienus. Her son was Saloninus who was murdered, along with his mother, to begin the Secessionist Gallic Empire haeded by Postumus. Well struck, especially on the reverse, in a decent looking silver. OB: SALONINA AVG, draped bust on crescent facing right. Rx: VESTA, figure seated l. holding sceptre and patera. XF, 2.65 g., 20mm.
