Cornelia Salonina was the wife of Gallienus and the mother of Valerian II and Saloninus. She was murdered with her husband in 268 A.D. Antoninianus OB: SALONINA AVG.; Rx: VESTA seated left, holds patera and sceptre; snake is exergue. Struck in 267 A.D. Good silver with excellent strike on the reverse & clear letters. VF+. 2.65 gm. 20 mm. S2948, C.143, RIC 32(s) VM# 55.
