Gamal Abdel Nasser Hussein was the 2nd President of Egypt and served from 1954 to his death in 1970. Proof Nasser piece that was struck at the Brussels mint in 1970 for the 10th Anniversary of Independence from France but also may be a tribute to his death. Chad is a land locked country with a varied terrain and around 200 different cultural heritages. The Nasser piece has the same reverse as the others, featuring a bold view of the continent of Africa where Chad is outlined in the central area of the Sahara desert. This 200 Francs coin has a mintage at 435 struck, the lowest of the 1970 series, all in proof.
