Bearing the wonderful coat of arms of Hamburg, this is a Half a Million Mark piece at the end of the Notgeld era. Soon the Rentenmark would be created to save Germany from complete ruin. "Freie Und Hansestadt Hamburg" (Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg). Hanseatic meaning a league of trading city partners on the Baltic Sea.
