1992 Christopher Columbus Quincentenary. The issue also featured a silver dollar and a half dollar. The half is well designed but the one dollar (in my never to be humble opinion) is one of the worst ever. They actually split an image of a sailing ship with that of the space shuttle. The idea probably sounded good on paper but the execution is a horror.
