Emergency Coinage from the Stockholm mint. While all other coins in this series was struck by her brother Carl XII, this last of the series was struck under the brief reign of Ulrika Eleonora the Younger, the Queen of Sweden in 1719. "Hoppet" means Hope. Ulrica was the daughter of Karl XI and Ulrika Eleonora of Denmark. She took the throne after the death of her brother Karl XII at the Siege of Fredricksten. KM lists a much rarer variety of this coin where the upside-down heart, that serves as a period between S &M, is replaced by a diamond shape. There's a chance that this variety is a damaged of filled heart that appears like a diamond. Let me know if you know.
