Roman Empire, Philip I (The Arab, 244 - 249 A.D.) Sestertius - Saecular Games issue on the 1000th Year (Millennium) of Rome celebrations. The exotic animal on the reverse is probably the large Red Deer Stag of Northern Europe. It's the only member of the deer family native to Africa as well.
