Korea 5 Yang - 1892 Counterstamped

Here is an example of a rare 5 Yang, one year type. Slight corrosion and uneven toning. The obverse & reverse both have a chop mark. KM states a weight of 26.95 gm but the standard catalog of Korean coins has it listed at 26.8 gm. 19,923 were struck. see comment below. Two respected coin experts, one from SPINKS, have assured me this coin is AUTHENTIC in their opinion. The Rose book on Chopmarks states that three 5 Yang pieces were known with chops at the time of the writing. Members of the Chopmark Collectors Club have stated that several more have been found, but the total is not much more than about ten. Please let me know if you have any further information.
