The reverse (photo sides swapped) depicts a scene found on certain ancient Greece era coins. Scene is from one of the "Labors of Hercules" showing him wrestle the Nemean Lion. It's a wonderful neo-classical design by Guiseppe Romagnoli. This is a one year type with the same reverse design appearing on the half Lek of 1930 - 31. This early issue had a tad of 1 M struck.
