Commemorative issue for the deeds & Death of Dr. Sun Yat-sen (Mar. 12, 1925). This is an uncommon issue and there is a very rare issue of 20c with the profile portrait of Dr. Sun that is not listed in KM. While listed under the Republic these coins (20c & 10c) are known to have been struck in Foochow in Fukien Province but that is not indicated on the coin. Kann states that these were struck in copper as an essai and with gold-plating for presentation purposes. Wenchao 953; Kann 606.
