Issued at Kuching,Sarawak on the 11th. of April 1978.
Inscribed entirely in Bahasa Melayu only,unlike current issues,which are bilingually inscribed in Bahasa Melayu & English.
Older Malaysian postal orders actually have the poundage indicated on the postal order itself,unlike current issues,which have the poundage indicated on the counterfoil only.
Since Rajah Sir Charles Vyner Brooke abdicated in 1946 to cede Sarawak to the British Crown,postal orders have been the only numismatic items to be issued in Sarawak.
